20 week picture

Jeremiah and I went to Springfield last week and registered at Babies R' Us. We still have to register for a few more things there and we are going to register at Target. Carol went crib shopping with us and bought us a beautiful white crib. My parents bought us the dresser that goes with the crib. The dresser is going to act as our changing table too. We are really excited and feel blessed to have such great parents! Jeremiah broke his wrist on Sunday, but he still says he wants to paint the room soon. He has to wear his splint for the next 5 weeks. We may wait until after Christmas to paint the room so that he can have two hands to work with instead of one. I'm very excited because we are going to paint the room brown and accent with pink.
I am now a little over 21 weeks. The baby is moving around so much! Once in a while I can actually see my stomach move when she kicks. It's so neat! Every time we go to church, she moves around like crazy! I think she likes hearing her dad sing and the vibrations of the music.:)
Below is a picture of me at 20 weeks. As you can see, my stomach has grown since my last picture. I can barely fit into any of my pants now. So I am thankful for the Bella Bands that a co-worker is letting me borrow!

Jess and Kort-belly picture # 1

Jessica and I have been friends since 1st grade. She is a wonderful person and friend. We have been through alot together over the past many years. In high school, Jess and I went to a fair and tried on a pregnancy belly. We took a picture (I'm trying to find it..and I will post it on here!) and joked about how we were going to be pregnant at the same time. Now, about 8 years later, I am excited that we are pregnant at the same time. Jess is due in the middle of May, so I believe she is about 6 weeks behind me. I'm thrilled to share the ups and downs of pregnancy with her over the next few months. Here is a picture we took of our stomachs two weeks ago. Hopefully, we will be able to take many more pictures before we have our babies.
I am 19 weeks and she is 13 weeks in this picture.

What an amazing week!

First of all, Jeremiah and I found out that we are having a girl!:) We went in for the sonogram on Friday, November 7. Our little girl was curled up in a ball so we weren't able to get great pictures of her. I couldn't really see the sonogram but Jeremiah could see her move during it. After pushing on my stomach (to get her to move) we were able to find out that we are having a girl. We definitely saw little girl parts.
At 17 weeks I was able to feel the baby move. This week (19 weeks) Jeremiah was able to feel her move too! He has been able to feel her move alot this weekend. I'm glad he can feel her move now because I felt bad that I was the only one who could feel her.

Dear Family and Friends,

As you know, Jeremiah and I are having a baby. We are due April 5, 2009. Some of you we don't see often, so we thought it would be fun for you to read updates about the baby. Hopefully, you will also think it is neat to see pictures of my expanding stomach over the next few months! :)
